Yeah, yeah- I thought about "third floor lounge" too, but I thought then that people would think of it as being quiet or where you go to see Ezra streak by naked. Second floor always had a wider range of people in it (some for the better, some worse) AND it's where I first got to know many of my Beloit friends (remember the days of watching Muppets on the double decker couches?). Oh Brian, can you never be content?

Also, I've been asked what the difference is between "post" and "post and publish." If you "post" what you wrote only appears in this template thingie, if you "post and publish" your post appears on the nicer "second floor lounge" page without the type in text box (what you see when you hit the "view blog" tab). I can (and have) publish(ed) other people's posts for them (ah, the power is going to my head!!) too.

Good to see you all, already! If anyone is looking to throw some money at new jewlery, check out these homeland security necklaces.

Hello All

Sorry about the cheesy invite e-mail, but thanks for looking past it and checking the site out anyhow. I mostly wanted a place where old friends could keep in better contact, less of the monthly obligatory "how's your job, etc." e-mail and more of a place to hang out and be ourselves with each other again, like hanging out in the lounge (hence the title). Feel free to check in and post often, engage in debates, post odd sites or rant about your daily life. Feel free to check in just every once and awhile to see what's new with old friends. Feel free to use the site however you like. Also, let me know if there are other people you'd like invited to join- I literally put all of the Beloit e-mails that I had into the invite list, but it's by no means limited to those people.

Okay, I'll get this started by posting something I think people might enjoy
