The art of guns and crack junkies
Where is everyone? Hello? Anyone do anything exciting lately? I've got an in-box full of guns at work- that's pretty strange. Okay, so it's pieces of paper representing guns that have been loaned to us for an exhibit that need to be entered into the database, but it's guns none the less. That and the other day I cleaned up the records for some crack house photographs from our collection. People shooting up, half naked- including a pregnant woman (and then a funeral for a baby from the same artist, sad and not merely a coincidence I imagine). Art is not limited to stuffy 19th century paintings by any means, and even if I am sitting at a computer all day, what passes before my eyes is rarely boring. What’s new with other folks?
